Mack LM-SW
Heavy Breakdown 6x4
The Mack  LM-SW , Known as Tractor , 5-ton , 6x4 , Heavy Breakdown was used by Canadians  and was issued to the RCEME and RCASC , later in the war it was also used by the British.(*)
It used the Gar-Wood swinging twin-boom and could lift 16 tons with the 2 Booms locked (**) (***)
The vehicle shown here could be one of the two Macks owned by the AMSTERDAM Public Transport Company ,who, when no longer usefull to them, Donated one to 'KEEP them ROLLING', the Dutch Military Vehicle Club -who raffled for it-, and later,one to an other organization (****)
